Alberts are deeply saddened by the results of the referendum. Our hearts and gratitude go out to the inspiring Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people who led this campaign for many years, and to the First Nations people, families and communities who are deeply impacted by this result.

Alberts continue to stand in solidarity with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people. We remain committed to working with First Nations communities for better outcomes, for a voice in policy and decision making, and to recognise and respect the incredible wisdom and knowledge of over 65,000 years on this land.

We respect their request for a week of silence and to mourn the referendum result https://ulurustatement.org/a-statement-from-indigenous-australians-who-supported-the-voice-referendum/.

As part of the philanthropic community that supported the Yes campaign, please read our joint statement.
