Due to popular demand, new tickets have been released to sold out sessions of FLOW 2023 – an incredible free outdoor theatre event aiming to connect the local community to country and waterways, guided by First Nations voices and stories.

Performed outdoors under the stars, FLOW is a yarn about Yaegl country and its neighbouring nations, told through dance, poetry, video projection and rap. This special performance, created and performed by Mitch King and Blake Rhodes, with direction by Jade Dewi Tyas Tunggal, is inspired by the first native title claim on a body of water, and is the tale of a man’s search to discover more about his story, and our region’s shared history.

The theatre performance will be accompanied by a series of free workshops, talks and activities to draw audiences deeper into the themes of FLOW and encourage deep listening and learning.

Our foundation, The Tony Foundation, is proud to support incredible organisations like NORPA (Northern Rivers Performing Arts), the production team behind FLOW, who are nurturing a vibrant culture and restoring music to the Northern Rivers community in the aftermath of devastating flooding.

Everyone is welcome for this all-ages performance and accompanying events, which are being held at two stunning locations:

  • Thu 16 – Fri 17 Nov: by the river at Maclean Showground, Yaegl country
Thu 23 – Sat 25 Nov: in the heart of Lismore at The Quad, Widjabul Wia-bul country.
