Ananya joined the Impact Ventures team in September 2023 for a six-month investments internship in the hope of kick-starting a purpose-driven career after relocating from Nairobi, capital of Kenya, to Sydney to pursue study and career opportunities. Ananya grew to fulfil roles as a Research Analyst and Business Services Undergraduate at Alberts, alongside other work experience including roles as a Summer Associate at Cut Through Ventures, Summer Strategy Consulting Intern at PWC- Strategy & Investments Intern at Vitality Capital Partners, and a secondment from Alberts to Scale Investors as a Project Coordinator for the Equity Clear Initiative. Having graduated with a double-degree at UNSW comprising of a Bachelor of Commerce, majoring in Finance and Bachelor of Information Systems with Distinction in January 2026, Ananya is now employed full-time as Associate, working in the broader Alberts team on projects, investments and research, as well as a continued one day-a-week secondment to Scale Investors. With a keen passion for and commitment to investing, entrepreneurship and impact, Ananya is proving herself to be a pragmatic leader, elected by her peers to serve as 2024 Impact Officer for the Global Shapers Sydney Hub, an initiative by the World Economic Forum, and continuing her leadership as the 2025 Alumni Engagement Officer.
