Judith brings a long-time commitment to access and equity in arts and cultural participation. As project lead for Music Education: Right from the Start, she leads strategic advocacy and cross-sector engagement to address systemic inequities and strengthen music education for every Australian primary school student.
With extensive experience in strategy, executive and management roles across government, community, creative industries and national cultural agencies, Judith’s previous roles include Director of Strategy and Policy at Arts NSW (now Create NSW); Head of Strategy and Policy at Film Australia (now Screen Australia); CEO of Milk Crate Theatre for people with lived experience of homelessness, and Director of the Front & Centre Arts Leadership program for women with disability. Since 2012, she has been a career, leadership and team development coach, and hosts the podcast Aligned & Thriving: Strategies for Work Life Balance.
