We’re pleased to share that Alberts Executive Director Kirsty Albert has joined the Board of Australians Investing In Women (AIIW), a not-for-profit organisation that champions investment solutions supporting the advancement of women and girls.

“I’ve long admired AIIW’s evidence-based approach, wide-reaching influence, and their emphasis on practical tools to support others to drive change,” said Kirsty. “I have deep respect for the transformative work that CEO Julie Reilly OAM and the AIIW team, with the support of the Board, chaired by Cathy Scalzo, have achieved in this space.”

Julie Reilly OAM welcomed the appointment, saying: “We’re delighted to welcome Kirsty Albert to the Board of Australians Investing in Women. A fifth-generation family business leader, Kirsty Albert is Executive Director and Head of Legal, People and Culture at Alberts, a company with a legacy of backing pioneers and a bold vision for a vibrant, sustainable future.”

At Alberts, our commitment to diversity, equity and inclusion is embedded in both policy and practice – from our internal operations to our investment decisions. As a Work180-endorsed employer, we aim to integrate DEI considerations into daily decision-making and, as a family business, are dedicated to advancing gender diversity in investment management and venture capital.

Kirsty’s appointment reflects this values-aligned approach and a shared commitment to advancing gender equity through systemic change. As Kirsty explains,“[AIIW’s] mission deeply aligns with Alberts’ commitment to embedding diversity, equity and inclusion across all that we do to help build a fairer, more inclusive and economically stronger world.”
