Many Australian children face long-term disadvantage due to poor access to quality education. Despite the best efforts of teachers and parents during the COVID-19 school disruption, students who experience disadvantage in the community were more likely to struggle with remote learning than others. Providing vulnerable children who are at risk of falling behind with opportunities to engage in learning as never been so important.
